MEAT PACKING LABOURER

Overview

The employer has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) due to a shortage of local workers. Foreign workers may be considered once approved.

This role involves working in a meat processing and packing facility, assisting with production, packaging, and machine operations.

All work is performed on-site in a refrigerated industrial environment.

Requirements

• Language: English or French
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Basic food safety and handling knowledge is an advantage

Main Responsibilities

• Manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or containers
• Feed and unload processing machines
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with general production and packing tasks

• Cold/refrigerated conditions
